Today, I’m going to give you 5 reasons entrepreneurs can benefit from yoga.

What you may not know about me is that I am a certified yoga instructor.

What you might not know is when I first was introduced to yoga I went to a class and I could not take it serious. At all… like I was laughing and cracking up because I didn’t believe it would help.

The teacher was trying to help us meditate and I honestly embarrassed myself.

What I found after a few more sessions is that I actually felt a change in my mindset.

I felt a shift in myself.

I had more control over my emotions. I could reflect on things in my mind that bothered me and I found that I was able to deal with a lot of personal growth using these methods.

I began to love it. I also began to heal.

After a series of random and beautiful events, I found myself signing up for Kripalu Institute for Yoga up in the mountains of Massachusetts. My life has never been the same.

I want to share the benefits with you.

Let me start by warning you now about yoga.

If you don’t want to relieve stress, improve your flexibility, blood flow and circulation, detoxify your body, improve your digestion, strengthen your bones and core muscles, increase your cardiovascular health and improve your memory; DO NOT TRY YOGA.

That being said, yoga has been scientifically proven to do all those things and more. So if those are things that don’t interest you, stop reading now!

  • For entrepreneurs like US, stress relief is first on the list.

Long days don’t make for good sleep, nor does it allow you to unwind in order to achieve good sleep! This is crucial to be productive in your business.

  • It strengthens your core.

These days we are all working on computers or our phones and you have probably noticed the slumped over backs, poor posture; its just not healthy. Strong posture is not only healthy, but it exudes confidence!

  • Yoga improves your memory!

When you are in control of your mind and your thoughts, the benefits speak for themselves. When you can filter and sort out your worries, organize your thoughts, you will find a sense of clarity that you won’t want to go back on.

  • It increases cardiovascular health and improves your blood pressure.

Yoga will benefit your energy levels during the day. It will improve your flexibility and allow joints to move with greater ease. It will improve your body’s ability to pump blood and lymph throughout your body. That’s a good thing!

  • It also improves the health of your skin, and detoxifies your body!

With healthier circulation and less stress you will see those blemishes and bags under the eyes go away! Now everyone gets pimples, and its nothing to be embarrassed about, it’s a fact of life. This will help decrease that, and keep you feeling and looking your best.

Major doctors in the fields of health coaching and life science, like Dr. Josh Axe, recommend it to help with a multitude of ailments. Yoga benefits pretty much everything in the mind and body. This isn’t me saying it is a cure-all activity but it certainly will help in addition to whatever lifestyle changes you’re trying to bring about. 

There is great power in your own unique purpose. Dare to
