My personal story is that I started speaking back in college for a nonprofit called Hope Helps as Miss Florida in 2009. In fact, my mother Krissy is the founder. My family and I would help work with my mom and I found that I was really good at communicating information and conveying it in a way that others could easily learn.

My platform, as Miss Florida, was raising awareness for homelessness and families in need.
